  1. Introduction
It is an ultrasonic anemometer which has all digital signal detection, high accuracy, automatically heating ability to remove snow and ice . It is the anemometer with real-time measurement of wind speed, wind direction and acoustic temperature.
 2. Features on Comparing with other anemometers
A. Comparing with the traditional mechanical anemometers, the advantage of this anemometer as followings:

 No moving parts, less wear;
 Low maintenance, long lifetime;
 High response speed

 
B. Comparing with the current anemometer in the market, this anemometer takes all-digital signal processing scheme for ultrasonic detecting.
 
C. It is very difficult to achieve high performance detection with the traditional analog signal detection technology, which requires high stability anemometer and high external environment requirement; it is fast response, lower cost than digital signal processing, however, it does not need high response speed for the wind speed and direction measurement. 
It is easy to work in various environments, it more accurate and intelligent, while it is all-digital signal processing detector.

 4. Main Features 4.1 Wind speed and wind direction measurement Ultrasonic anemometer takes four ultrasonic sensors in the two-dimensional plane to send and receive ultrasonic signals; it is an instrument using the difference of the ultrasonic spread time in the air to measure wind speed and wind direction. 
  4.2 Acoustic temperature measurement  Ultrasonic anemometer calculates the wind speed according to the difference of the sound spread time in the air; then calculates the temperature according to the physical relationship between temperature and sound speed.
  4.3 Automatic Heating Function (removes snow and ice ) There's an automatically heating device being installed in the anemometer to ensure the instrument work well in serious cold environment.
